Our 1st Valentine’s Day married was sweet. My little love sure knows how to make me happy. Roses and a box of fresh cookies, brownies, & ice cream w/ a card that says- Do NOT share these with anyone! ? He knows I just wanted a box all to myself. ?
But really, he is so sweet. ❤️ He is the best at cheering me up and making me laugh when I’ve had a hard day at work. He will sing to me and it makes me happy. We are so glad we have each other to encourage each other, to support one another, to laugh together, and to love like we’ve never loved before. Having him as my forever Valentine is a beautiful thing. Happy Valentine’s Day, sweetheart.
Happy Valentine’s Day to all you wonderful readers, too! Thanks for the love and support you give me.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner… and it’s National Pizza Day! Two wonderful things. Now I just really want a pazookie in the heart-shaped pan to top it off. We’ve actually been trying to eat less carbs. I know, I know. So this pizza was made with a cauliflower crust & I put the recipe down below.
Also, my grandma MADE this beautiful apron for me, and I absolutely LOVE it. Isn’t it perfect? I told her she should sell these puppies because people would buy them. It even has pockets. I know! Also, I especially love the red and pink around Valentine’s Day. Thank you to my sweet grandma for making this for me. I love her!
1 Large Cauliflower
1 C Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Spices (We used 2 T Oregano, 2 T Parsley, & 2 T Basil)
3/4 C tomato sauce
2 C shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 C shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 450 F.
Steam head of cauliflower for about 6-8 minutes.
Grate cauliflower or put in food processor until you have 3 cups.
Get the grated cauliflower as dry as you can with paper towels.
Mix in eggs, cheese, and spices.
Bake crust at 450 F for 15-20 minutes depending on the thickness.
Remove from oven & add sauce and toppings.
Broil in oven until cheese is golden brown.
Let cool & enjoy your creation- without feeling guilty
Apparently I am all heart everything nowadays. I LOVE IT. I wanted to try a heart hairstyle before Valentine’s Day, and this one is super easy! All it requires is two elastics and to twist your hair! Bobby pins are optional. I’m currently in the process of uploading a 3 minute YouTube video, so you can see how I did it. I’ll put it on here when it is uploaded.
Also, I’ve been trying to eat more healthy than usual. (All bets are off on V-day though.) But I have been loving honey greek yogurt with raspberries for breakfast. It is SO GOOD.
I’m kind of all over the place today, but I listened to this talk this morning. It is by President Holland and it is amazing. It is great for when I am making decisions and helps me to proceed on good choices with confidence. It has helped me through some hard times in my life so I wanted to share it. Click HERE to watch!
