Quick Braided Braid Tutorial ?

This braided braid is really easy, but looks so cool!

  1. Separate your hair into 3 pieces & braid each of those sections.
  2. Pull apart each of the 3 braids for texture.
  3. Braid the 3 braids into one braid.

Easy as 1, 2, 3. Steps 2 & 3 are interchangeable. Whichever you think is easier you can do first! ?

What is everyone plans for Easter? I hope to spend it with my sweetheart & with family! What a wonderful time to celebrate.

Heart Hairstyle + Heart Breakfast

Apparently I am all heart everything nowadays. I LOVE IT. I wanted to try a heart hairstyle before Valentine’s Day, and this one is super easy! All it requires is two elastics and to twist your hair! Bobby pins are optional. I’m currently in the process of uploading a 3 minute YouTube video, so you can see how I did it. I’ll put it on here when it is uploaded.

Also, I’ve been trying to eat more healthy than usual. (All bets are off on V-day though.) But I have been loving honey greek yogurt with raspberries for breakfast. It is SO GOOD.

I’m kind of all over the place today, but I listened to this talk this morning. It is by President Holland and it is amazing. It is great for when I am making decisions and helps me to proceed on good choices with confidence. It has helped me through some hard times in my life so I wanted to share it. The Perfect High Bun

The Perfect High BunIMG_0654IMG_0655IMG_0653IMG_0652

So I have been working to perfect the high bun because I could never get it to look good! It would either be lopsided or fall out easily or just look weird. So I FINALLY figured out some tips to make the perfect high bun or the perfect top knot.

How to Make the PERFECT High Bun

  1. Comb your hair up into a high ponytail and secure with a thick elastic.
  2. Grab the front layer of hair in ponytail and backcomb or tease it.
  3. Twist all hair in the ponytail once or twice (you don’t want it too tight) and begin to wrap around the ponytail.
  4. Continue to backcomb or tease as you bring your hair around.
  5. Secure with another elastic.
  6. Adjust the bun. Pull pieces out or tuck pieces in until it all looks even.
  7. Lightly spray hair to secure into place.
  8. Rock that top knot all day long!

I hope this helps you because it has been a game changer for me! If you make the PERFECT top knot, tag me on IG @alysetay, so I can see your work of art. Now, go out there and keep being YOU! Love y’all!
