Hope everyone had a great April! Time seriously flies so quickly. Sometimes I’m fine with that, but most the time, I try to hold on.
Speaking of time, Trent (my sweet little brother) gets home in 3.5 months. It’s almost been 2 years since I’ve seen him. He’s been serving the Lord down in Chile- his first time away from home was Chile. I’m so proud of his sacrifice he has made. He could have been attending college for 2 years already, but he chose to put others above himself & serve the Lord. We have received blessings for his service, but we absolutely cannot wait until he comes home to us!
Also, it’s my cute sister’s birthday this week! 🎉 I miss her so much. Anyone who knows her knows how fun, thoughtful, and caring she is. She’s also beautiful & I love her! She is my little twin. It seems like just yesterday that she was born. I’m so happy she came to this Earth & that I get to be sisters with her. Happy birthday, Meme! 💕
I can’t wait to celebrate with her when I see her next. 🍭🎂🍬
We are on our way to Grandma’s house this week for Thanksgiving, so here’s a little throw back to last year around this time, when we went to Grandma’s house. Who else is SO excited?!
This past weekend was amazing. Nick and I popped into St. George to go see Mia in her high school play. She was part of the ensemble for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat, and she rocked it. She sang and danced with so much energy, and she looked beautiful on stage. It made me want to sing and dance more! Also, we had musical songs stuck in our heads all weekend, and we would all frequently break out into song. It was so fun. I love being home.
Also,I finally have a phone again, so I’m happy for that! Two more days of work and then more family time! Hooray!
Okay, so we’ve always celebrated Sister’s Day at the beginning of August ever since we were little. We decided to Google Sister’s Day to see if it was even a thing and IT IS. What’s more is that National Sister’s Day is August 6. Coincidence? I think not.
So I know this post is a bit late in coming, but just wanted to tell my Sissy how much I love her. She just started her junior year of high school and is absolutely rocking it! She just made the musical to- Joseph and the Technicolored Dream Coat! How cool is that? Also, she is drop dead gorgeous and hilarious. We laugh nonstop when we’re together.
The best thing about my sister, though, is her heart. She has had to endure many trials in her young life, but somehow still has a heart of gold. She cares about others and worries if she is doing the right thing. What a neat thing to worry about! She truly loves the Lord. I know she will do amazing things in her life and one day find her handsome prince charming. She’ll be a great mom and won’t take crap from no one.
I love her, and so many people do, too. One of my best friend’s sister is Mia’s age. My friend told me that her sister said that Mia always includes everyone and doesn’t care what people think about her. What an amazing quality!
Mia is beautiful and so fun. I love my one and only sister and can’t wait to see where she goes in this amazing journey called life. Also, dibs being neighbors with you in heaven! 😉
