Antelope Canyon sits under ground, hidden in all her glory on the Navajo Reservation near Page, Arizona. In orderto view this natural beauty, you must book a tour. This was one of the coolest tours I’ve ever been on! It can be a bit pricey, but so worth the money. We booked our tour through Dixie Ellis here. Because this canyon was formed by water, the tours can be canceled if there is bad weather in case of flash floods. However, Page, Arizona rarely experiences rain, so you should be good.
We went booked ours ahead of time for earlier in the morning on Memorial Day. We knew it would be crowded being a holiday, and it was about an hour wait once we got there. However, as soon as it’s your group’s turn to go into the canyon, you feel like you’re the only ones in there. It’s about a mile long and 100% stunning. God truly is the master artist.
The sunlight pours in at the top of the canyon and illuminates the walls. Depending on the angle of sunlight, the walls are different colors. I hardly edited these photos at all because they are full of color as they were. If you have the opportunity, you must go! It was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. We live in such a beautiful place.
