Sterling Vineyards

My Finnish fam is in town and they wanted to see the Napa Valley Vineyards. Nick and I don’t drink alcohol, but we couldn’t pass up an opportunity to venture out to the vineyards because they are so stunning. A friend recommended we go to Sterling in Napa Valley and I’m so glad we did. They have an air tram that takes you up the mountain so you can see an aerial view of the vineyards. So cool! And so beautiful from the top.

We’ve had a wonderful weekend being tourists in our new city. My family being here makes me so happy. They live halfway across the world, so it’s hard I don’t get to see them as much as I’d like, but I feel so close to them. They’re hilarious and so generous and kind-hearted. I love them.

Hope y’all have a wonderful Sabbath.

XOXO,

Alyse

Napa Valley

Napa is stunning. We went on a rainy day and it was actually perfect because you don’t even have to get out of your car to experience the beauty of the area. We drive around through the green rolling hills vineyard after vineyard.

I’ve actually only been to Napa in the winter time, but I love it because the mustard plant pictured above is in peak bloom & it is stunning! ? Yellow just makes everything seem happier. Aaaand fun little fact, it helps the grapes grow.

We tried to go to one vineyard recommended to us by Trip Advisor, but we didn’t love it tbh. I really had more luck just driving through Napa & pulling over and exploring vineyards that look beautiful! (Which is basically all of them.) Then again, we weren’t there for the wine, just the beautiful scenery!

If you get the chance to go, GO!

XOXO,

Alyse
