Pretty in Pink <3

We always have the most fun dressing up & this photoshoot was no exception. Mia let me borrow her cute Girl Power shirt! It’s adorbs, huh!? And I’ve always loved her sparkly polka dot shirt from J. Crew.

Okay so all my life, I have been a shirt person. Well like, everyone wears shirts, but I mean when it comes to shopping, I’ve always instinctively bought shirts only. I can never find pants that I like and that fit me. But that has totally been a different story for both me and my sister these past few months.  All we find ourselves looking at is new cool denim or some fun pants! Not complaining, it’s just weird. I’ve complied some cute denim below under $25.

Also, I am now on my way to a long awaited vacation with my family this weekend. Any guesses where we are going?!

Love y’all!

XOXO,

Alyse

Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo was everything you’d imagine it to be- rich, fancy, and clean. It’s only about 25 minutes from the Italian border, but you can 100% tell you’re in a new country. We drove through and parked our car in the South of France to get there. Monte Carlo is situated on the ocean, so when you’re driving down to it, you’re on the most picturesque switch backs. We got out of the car started wandering the streets. We saw some fancy, high-end stores on our way to the casino. The casino isn’t like Vegas casinos, fortunately IMO. The architecture was actually really beautiful. We don’t gamble, but it was fun to walk around it.

We then made our way back to the yachts. Ummm… those things are bigger than houses. So fun to walk around the docks. We found a little crepe place & ate nutella crepes. We finished our day with some Laduree macarons in the South of France. YUM. Macarons are one of my favorite things, but they’re best in France. 😉

Okay, so Nick picked out my skirt- isn’t it cute and colorful!? I got my skirt for $19.99 HERE. Sometimes in the summer skirts are all I can bear to wear because it’s too hot for anything else. And who doesn’t love a straw hat to top it off?

Happy Monday!

XOXO,

Alyse

Sunflower Fields in Tuscany ?

Driving through Tuscany, Italy was breathtaking. I have never seen so many fields of sunflowers in my life! I knew I had to take a picture.

The only issue was that, once you get on the freeway in Tuscany, there are very few exits. You are basically on the freeway for a long time. As we drove by these flowers, it was like they were all staring at the cars passing by and teasing us with their beauty because we couldn’t even slow down to see them let alone take a picture of them!

We couldn’t even find any ways to get to any of them. Finally, we found an exit and ventured off to these one-lane back roads where we didn’t even know if we were allowed to be. We crossed a bridge and made it to a dirt road that was covered in giant puddles from recent rain.

Finally we saw some beautiful fields in the distance. We carefully drove our rental car through puddle after puddle until we got close enough to pull the car over. As you can tell from the photos above, there were mountains in the distance. The lighting was perfect and the flowers were huge! Honestly, our earth is so diverse and beautiful. What a gift from God! 100% obsessed with it.
