Oakland A’s Suite

Grandpa Blair’s 90th birthday party was a huge success! I think he had a lot of fun just seeing his family together. Nick’s family rented out a suite at the A’s vs. Red Sox game. The weather was phenomenal. There was food and family and baseball! It was perfect. I hope my 90th birthday party is that bumping. Hint, hint to my posterity if they read this one day….

I finally found some overalls that fit me and don’t have giant gaping holes all over them! They’re so comfortable and stretchy that I want to wear them wherever I go, so you may see me in them from now on- just warning you. Also, I love my polka dot t-shirt because it goes with any pants or skirts. It’s fun! I’ll post a link down below of the same or similar products.

Anyways, we are back in Dallas now taking on real life. Speaking of, I need to get ready, eat breakfast, and be out the door in 2 minutes, so BYE!!!!

Hawaii Throwback + Family

So I was looking through my photos on Mother’s Day in order to find a good photo to post, and I did- see my Insta here– but I also found a million other good photos that I need to post on here. One of which are these fun photos from Hawaii. I have the most amazing family and I love every member of it so much.

Since it was just Mother’s Day, I just wanted to say that I love my sweet mother! She is strong and beautiful and courageous. She is persistent in teaching us right from wrong and oh so selfless. I love that blonde lady in the middle.

Also, I love these photos because we got to talk to our little (tall) brother on Mother’s Day. We haven’t seen him in almost two years because he has been out serving a mission. THREE MONTHS FROM NOW, he’ll be home. He is amazing and I can’t wait to laugh with him again.

So yeah, here’s a throwback to Hawaii, and here’s to good family!

XOXO,

Our First Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving 2016!!! Who had an amazing Thanksgiving? Looks like all y’all did from the looks of Instagram. ? I love how much happier we are around the holidays. I think it’s because the focus shifts off ourselves and onto other people & onto Jesus Christ.

My first Thanksgiving married to Nick has me thinking of all of my blessings, specifically all the blessing that marrying him has brought into my life. Married life really is the best & I so lucked out with him.

Also, I have this little thing I have done by myself every year. On Thanksgiving in all of my prayers, I try to not ask for one thing- just thank Heavenly Father for all of my blessings. Nick started with me this year and it is kind of fun. Try it! Does anyone else have any traditions for Thanksgiving?!
