Best of Blondeography 2016-2017

Blondeography turns 1 year old later this week. I’ve been reflecting about this past year of blogging and remembering all the amazing places that I’ve been able to go, and the people I’ve been able to meet. This past year, my love & I have been blessed to be able to travel around the WORLD. We’ve been able to go to

These are just some of the places that this last year took us. Seeing the world opens our eyes & our hearts, enriches our minds, and builds stronger relationships. I hope that travel will always be a part of our lives.

Food is the second thing that I wanted to highlight, obviously. I honestly should have solely focused on food because I am obsessed with it, but I was trying to play it cool. Food brings people together, and in some cases, we have planned entire trips around food.  Anyways here are the links to some of my favorites:

May we continue to find, eat, & create good food in this world.

And, of course, some of my favorite hairstyles of this past year. I’ve created 6-7 tutorials. All of which are embarrassing haha. Maybe I’ll get better at tutorials this year. Maybe I won’t. But I’ll continue to find or create fun and easy hairstyles to share! I love doing hair because it’s basically free and you can create!

Most of all, thank you to all you lovely readers. This blog is no Vogue or National Geographic, but I love creating, photographing, collaborating, writing, discovering, & sharing. Please continue to give me ideas & reach out to me! What have your favorite posts been? What would you like to see more of?

I can’t wait to see where this next year takes us! I love y’all.

Unicorn Frappuccino ?

The unicorn frappuccino, the most basic drink of 2017. ?  Thousands of Instagram posts already. Is it worth the hype?

Looks wise- Yes. It’s the cutest drink I’ve ever received.

Taste wise- Let’s just say I couldn’t get 3 sips down. ?

It has a blue swirl, so when you stir it with your straw it changes colors and flavors. A cool idea. And a great way to cheer up your work week! I’m curious to know what y’all think. Let me know if you try it.

Hope y’all are having a great week.

XOXO,

Alyse

Lobster in Maine

Not only was it my first time in Maine, but it was my first time eating lobster!! Okay, we had some lobster on our honeymoon, but it was already cracked. I seriously didn’t even know it was so much work to get to the meat, so you can see why I was surprised when they brought over a bib and plate of tools. ? It wasn’t my fav food in the world, but I feel like it is part of the Maine experience. Plus, these little suckers are so photogenic. ?

We saw the most photographed light house in the world in Portland, ME! Then we headed over to the Lobster Shack in Cape Elizabeth. And I’m so glad we got a lobster Christmas ornament before we left, so we will always remember our little Maine trip.

Today, we explored Vermont! I didn’t get quite as many cool photos, but Vermont is absolutely breathtaking. The leaves are starting to change, we saw a black bear, we ate raspberry chocolate pancakes with legit maple syrup, and we visited Joseph Smith’s birthplace. It has been a beautiful day with family.

Anyways, hope you’ve loved our photos! We are falling in love with this place.

Xoxo,

Alyse
